Natural coconut wax is non-toxic and burns cleaner than any other wax. It’s 100% natural and biodegradable. We blend our coconut wax with an eco soy wax for our candles, throwing scent beautifully well, whilst burning evenly.
Wood wicks burn cleanly and disperse a strong scent throw. The crackle sounds, creates a captivating acoustic ambience.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
Wooden wicks burn a little differently than traditional cotton wicks so here's our top tips to get the very best performance from your candle.
The 1st Burn - Ensure you give your candle enough burning time to achieve a full melt pool that goes all the way to the edge of the vessel but do not exceed 4 hours of burn time.
Always light your wooden wick from the base, closest to the wax, and ensure the full width of the wick is alight. Lighting your wooden wick from the top could result in the wood burning itself out before reaching the wax.
Trimming your wick- wooden wicks need to be kept shorter than cotton and we recommend keeping them to about 5mm.
If the wick is burning too low and dim or alternatively too high then it will need blowing out and trimming.
to trim simply either use candle trimmers or run your fingers across the wick removing any chard wood but ensuring no bits break off into the wax.
Burn Times - To preserve longevity of the fragrance in your candle burn for 2 to 4 hour increments. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Leftovers - For your safety, wooden wicks are securely fixed to the base of your vessel using a metal sustainer. This ensures your candle is self extinguished at a safe distance from the bottom of the container. To make the most of any leftover wax why not pop it in a wax melter/warmer.
All candles need to be extinguished once there is 1/2 inch of wax left in the bottom of the container.
30cl- 50+ hours burn time.
How to use
Chop or snap the desired amount of wax off your wax melt, depending on wax burner size and strength of fragrance you require.
Continue to melt until fragrance has gone, which as a guide is usually approx 8hrs. Once the fragance has gone, allow the wax to cool and harden, then remove and clean as per the manufacturers guidlines.
